Vordakai Tomb [soul eater]

Didn't had much else to do on the map so I ventured forth, entered the Tomb of Vordakai. When raven said it's "one way ticket" I made backup save just in case.
So I enter the place, doors close behind me, sure. I have 12 rations (so two resting opportunities) which may be not enough, as I am almost done with first level and out of spells. The thing is, there's an ancient soul eater that upon coming close spawns two "special" eaters to fight 1vs1 me and Harrim.

That's already bad, as Harrim is getting sucked out of his wisdom, thus can't use any spells. But when I win this fight, bunch more of soul eaters appear. I managed to win barely with last NPC alive and kiting on haste with a bow. At this point my team have 3 people on the death's door and nobody have any wisdom left to use restoration spells. I don't have any potions to resture stats.

Am I dead?

If you have other ways to heal (like potions or whatnot) you can probably push forward until you get to the end. There's rations there for a third rest just before vordekai, and vordy is a lot less hard than the rest of the dungeon.

I don't think you're dead yet, you've sort of gotten over the hump. Once you get back home you can heal up.

Yes, the 1:1 fights can be hard. May take several tries to find the right strategy for your characters.

If you can reload back before the raven asks you who the weakest in your party is, you can avoid Harrim getting drained. The soul eaters will always attack you and whoever you declare as the weakest in the last raven dialogue, so you have some control who gets to do it.

There is also a curious "bug" there. The 1st monster does as expected and attacks me. I named Valerie as second and the 2nd monster calls out Regongar as his victim, whom I never have around (and who is ungeared). After some dithering it finally settled to the duel with Valerie. Makes one wonder if it was afraid...

If you have ranged/spellcaster character for your main and Harrim has a crossbow, you can go to the narrow space between the open sarcophagi near the entrance to that room. I just put main and Harrim first and then the rest of the party (in order of lowest to highest fort save) sandwiching them in. The souleaters will be boxed out and you can just range them to death.

I managed to finish this location/quest couple of days ago, final fight was a joke in comparison to almost half of that damned tomb.
