Forefather immortal?
Ive been hitting him for 10 minutes, he's on the ground... hes alive...

Edit: Kill him with good weapons. Divine intervention scimitar from the priestess vendor (A-something) works.

Regeneration: A creature with this ability is difficult to kill. Creatures with regeneration heal damage at a fixed rate, as with fast healing, but they cannot die as long as their regeneration is still functioning (although creatures with regeneration still fall unconscious when their hit points are below 0). Certain attack forms, typically fire and acid, cause a creature’s regeneration to stop functioning on the round following the attack. During this round, the creature does not heal any damage and can die normally. The creature’s descriptive text describes the types of damage that cause the regeneration to cease functioning.

Attack forms that don’t deal hit point damage are not healed by regeneration. Regeneration also does not restore hit points lost from starvation, thirst, or suffocation. Regenerating creatures can regrow lost portions of their bodies and can reattach severed limbs or body parts if they are brought together within 1 hour of severing. Severed parts that are not reattached wither and die normally.

Ok so...

1. There is no info and no lore check for the guy.
2. To stop a devil's regeneration you have to hit him with 'good' Ive tried angelic aspect on reg and my MC doesnt work.
3. Tried Holy word... no effect, not that I expected it to have any.
4. Tried fire bombs, tried acid spells.

Now Im just getting pissed :/

Done... and I think this is wrong on the developers side.

Reg casting Angelic Aspect which is supposed to turn his scimitar good aligned = nada.
Reg with Divine Intervention good aligned scimitar that I bought from the priestess vendor = Forefather dead before I could blink.

Astareal thanks! your post was helpful.

Also thanks Brughe... I'm just slow needed more explanation :/

The other thing you can do is you can do ability damage to reduce an ability score to 0, which always kills regardless of regeneration (which works both for and against you, in PnP only reducing CON to 0 is supposed to kill you)

he is devil , using holy weapon work best agaist devils . Base on the devil type he is he would have other DR . As long as you have a holy weapon or other mean to over come it DR good and it fast heal . He can be killed quickly. If i recall correctly unless the base devil stat's were change for this unique npc. He is a Apostaate Devil . Here is a link to the base monster stat as i do not know what changes were made to this npc.

Confirmed Holy weapons will disable his regeneration. I just did this fight and he didnt even survive long enough for his first action (turn based mode). One of my slayers wrecked him with a holy composite longbow.

holy damage kills him cuz he's a demon. use holy weapon or crack open a scroll

He does have Regeneration 5 (good)

The ways to get around that if you don't have that damage type:
1: Coup-De-Gras : If the victim fails the fort save they will die regardless of regeneration (you exploded their head) Valerie did this for me in my playthrough.

2: Ability score damage: In Kingmaker at least someone will die if any ability score drops to zero. Nok-Nok is good for this if you took the talent that deals 2 Str damage on hit. I had him down 10 STR before Valerie managed option #1.

"Coup de grace" supposed to work. I killed the Lynworms with it.
