Seriously, FIX RING OF CIRCUMSTANCE

This is what stopped me from continuing my play through. Got one 100+ playthrough ended by Pitax bug, on my second and when I bought this ring I found out it was bugged. Months later and still bugged. I have been thinking of starting 1 last play through so I can take advantage of new features but I refuse to pick up any DLC or start this over until THE MOST EXPENSIVE ITEM IN THE GAME WORKS.

This has been a rant from a loving customer.

The most expensive item you can buy definitely does nothing, it is even written on it :)

They did something with the ring at least, because there is now a palette of abilities, but the charges are all set to zero. Maybe in 1.2?

You can actually make it work. Not ideal but works. Basically you need the buffs from it (the ones you want to activate) to be on the action bar for them to function. So I would suggest to put them on the sidebar that you probably never use and hide it once you activate them. If they don't show charges on them after putting them on the sidebar, try resting.

So the ring lets you activate the buffs like a toggle, but this has certain implications. For one, a prepared caster cannot make use of the increased casting stat (this is somewhat overpriveleged, mind you, as a prepared caster gets a +2 to save DC from using both ring functions, which contributes to the "WTH?" unfairness of caster main characters). For another, it is incredibly buggy and will do things like not work at all if you save the game.

I did not try to put them on the tab...have to check that out. By the description they stay active until you change them, which requires you to have rested with the ring on your finger. I wouldn't know why saving the game should interfere with it?

Edit: tried out putting them on the tab and it doesn't work. Of course I rested, before you ask :)

To clarify, it's absolutely unquestionably horribly broken, but if you put the abilities on a tab then, eventually, the stars align and you can activate them freely-then they promptly deactivate every time the game transitions for any reason, in any way, but you can reactivate them as a free action so...eh.

(Also, you can activate any number of the circumstances. So it's broken in *every* way.)

Hmm not sure what to say, it did work for me... Maybe try unequipping/equipping fiddle with it some more. Does it show charges on it? Or there are charges but activating just doesnt do anything?
