3 month after release and blindsight still doesn't provide gaze attack immunity

How the bloody hell am I supposed to fight medusa and wildhunt when the one counter to gaze attack doesn't even work?

any character with echolocation should have no issue with medusa, but no, implementing pathfinder core rule in a pathfinder game is apparently too much to ask.

for reference, here is the text book core rule for blindsight:
Blindsight
Some creatures possess blindsight, the extraordinary ability to use a non-visual sense (or a combination senses) to operate effectively without vision. Such senses may include sensitivity to vibrations, acute scent, keen hearing, or echolocation. This makes invisibility and concealment (even magical darkness) irrelevant to the creature (though it still can’t see ethereal creatures). This ability operates out to a range specified in the creature description.
Blindsight never allows a creature to distinguish color or visual contrast. A creature cannot read with blindsight.
Blindsight does not subject a creature to gaze attacks (even though darkvision does).
Blinding attacks do not penalize creatures that use blindsight.
Deafening attacks thwart blindsight if it relies on hearing.
Blindsight works underwater but not in a vacuum.
Blindsight negates displacement and blur effects.

Blind Fight feat works. Also Freedom of Movement lvl 4 cleric spell.

Blindsight is not the same thing as Blind Fight. Blindsight is a "creature" ability, too. Anything that provides concealment is a good protection versus gaze abilities, so are high saving roll modifications.

No worries, it's no allegation. I was replying to OP :-) Blind Sight and Blind Fight have been mingled a few times in the past, so it is a mere clarification.
