How do you get to Sorrowflow?

I am at the beginning of chapter 2 and I have just received the quest to go alone to sorrowflow. I see it on my map, by how do you actually get there? the nettle ford wont let me cross and when I cross higher I cant get to the side of the river where the location is. Wandering with one character at level 6 is about a fun as a fork in the eye, any pointers would be appreciated.

I can't describe exactly, but go east from your capital and cross the river as soon as you can and then go north. By the way, you can travel with a full party and then click on one of the icons to change your party once you reach the destination and remove companions (but this will cost you a number of days)
