Not much. The idea is to get 9th level spells and as many as possible, therefore are rogue levels unwanted. If you are happy with what you got spellwise, don't lose too much sleep over it.

9th level spells are good, but the main killers are hellfire ray, chain lightning and scirocco on the 6th, and lightning storm on the 8th.
Just make sure you give Octavia a meta feat or two that allows her to take more copies of those at higher spell levels (heighten spell or empower mostly). If you get one of the maximize robes from Sharel, the GM rod from Irlene, or one of the maximize rods from planar trading you have what you need to be a glass cannon ;)

My main in my last run was an AT, except I used arcane bloodline sorc instead of wizard. After getting to 10 AT I went back to rogue for the bonus sneak attack damage. Ended up rogue 3 I think. With sense vitale up and wearing the necklace of double crosses I was hitting crazy damage on my evocation spells.

Point being, if you already have 2 rogue and you're pretty happy with her spell selection, might want to go ahead and grab one more rogue level for the damage boost.

Or not. It's not like I really know what I'm doing ;p

uh what? you can't get Arcane trickster without Sneak Attack 2 and you need Rogue level 3 to get Sneak Attack 2.... this is how i always had to do it, even in the class description it says it. So how are people getting Sneak Attack 2 at Rogue 1? O_o

They do that by taking Accomplished Sneak Attacker as their level 3 feat. Assuming they go Rogue 1/ Wizard 3, this lets them take the first level of Arcane Trickster at level 5.
