Bring them to eachothers companion quests and make good decisions. Jaethal may..."disappear" for a while. But, while supposedly come back in the house of knives. Haven't tested this myself yet, but just read it in a similar thread.

oh great. i already did tristian quest and she was not in the party , so i guess only choice now is to get her killed by her goddess and wait for her to reapear at the end.

You need to make her explode in her last quest. She'll come back in chapter six in the House at the Edge of Time. There will also be another check to make alive - you also need to complete Tristian's last quest in a way that the chief cultist kills himself.

I love when the spoiler is actually in the title before the spoiler warning. :/

This is correct. You have to talk Jaethal into defying her goddess to save her daughter; to help with this, you should tell her to let the reanimated elf girl die in Jaethal's first quest and not side with the Inquisitor in the second quest. I have usually left the old cultist dead in the second quest, so that seems to be a valid option for the third quest conversation.

i let her decide what to do with her quest, and she killed her daughter and remained undead. as for Tristian, i think the cult leader offed himself (in either case, it looked like a "good" ending). so, in the end T did try to kill J, but he didn't quite succeed and ended up dead himself.
