What is the deal with the time limit on companion quests timing out with no warning?
OK I have now failed two companion quests without warning, I get the kingdom management quest and time limits, but since I was trying to make sure my town did not get destroyed by stopping a troll invasion, I was kind of focused on that because last time my kingdom got destroyed, partly me to new to kingdom managment and how it works , and because I spent more time doing companion quests, then stopping an invasion.

This time, I help stop invasion doing better on kingdom, only to fail two companion quests, because I did not get there in time, but I had no Idea when I had to be there by. I mean if I knew, I would of at least made an effort.

Also can we narrow down where some of the quests are, I mean some where in the Narlmarches doesnt exactly narrow it down, when you have dire, north, south, I mean I proably also lost there quests when I did have a bit of time, I was looking for some stupid cart expolring when I had time.

Sorry just a bit upset, I restarted to do better on kindom managment and I was. Just to fail on things I had no idea I had to be there by a certian time.

I like this game but man failing those two compainon quest, when I was like we will get to them but if our kindom gets destroyed we lose, so just wait for a bit, and then its like screw you, you failed no warning.

So starting over again.

Bald Hilltop > Main Story Quest >Companion Quests > everything else

Just do them asap and it's no problem. Just make sure to grab the companions as soon as you can (I have seen too many threads about folks losing Jubilost too leave this bit out) and you'll be fine.

It is no catastrophe to miss/lose a companion, you can live without most of them. Except maybe Tristian, due to who can be a councilor.
The priorities of my predecessor are correct, btw.
