WEapons in game and stats?
All,

I've constructed a sheet based on path finder base rule set and have listed all the weapons found there in, some 232. I've then assumed the base rules such as danage ranges for small and medium are the same and equally the crit rules have not changed. Ignoring magical weapons and character statistic bonuses. I've set up the spreadsheet and macroes, to emulate natural dice rolls including D20 crit rolls. I have run 10000 runs per weapon type several times (so 40000) now and have concluded on base damage per roll DPR, the Earth Breaker is statistically the better weapon for damage with on average of 6 for small and 8 for medium everytime. Note the Butcher Axe if it was in the game (which I believe is not) is much better again. This does not also take into account multiple attacks per round, or whether you miss , ie these are assumed constant. I can add complexities such as dual wielding and assume and average base to hit requirement for all weapons and see the difference in a future version. Or a range only etc.

I'm not sure if an earth breaker base weapon toon is viable in the game but I'll give it a shot. Any ideas on skills? Great Axe with 6/7 (occasionally hits 6/8). Bardiche and greatsword are next.

Earthbreakers are in game, but I have yet to see the named one. There are no butcher axes. Great axes are around, some of them look nice, greatswords too - both are not the most common weapons. I don't think I saw a bardiche, but there are good glaives and fauchards with interesting features.
Common weapons are maces and dueling swords, of which there is a large number around, many with specials. Mallet Woe is a mace +3 with 2d6 base damage (and there went your spreadsheet out of the window) and permanent freedom of movement, of which you get one in chapter 2 (and which stays relevant for a long while). There is a mace that raises your AC for each successful hit, and another that either stuns or staggers the victim.

And just a word of caution about 2H weapons: you lose out on a lot of AC. You have been warned ;)
Use the bag of tricks mod and either look at the file in Excel, or search for earth breaker in the mod manager

Interesting comments. All I really need is the game base files where the weapons are kept. On the armour front or even weapon specials, I agree I haven't accounted for these. It is a pure base weapon, based on the rpg game stats.

All good information though.

I'll look up bag of mods.
