What does oil of enhancement II actually do?
It says it adds a temporary enchancement II, but like what?

I just do not know exactly what it does.

That is my question, you can keep reading after this, or do not bother and just answer my question please.

I ask because I am in an area, I can not leave, had some hard fights, nothing I could not manage, but I have had to rest at least one more time then I would of liked to and my camping supplies will run thin, if i am forced to rest to many more times, but I really think am close to end of this place.

I only have one of these potions, and I do not want to use it too early. Because I do not know what it really does.

Because I am sure there is going to be something nasty at the end of this that I have to kill.

I have hard saved before so If I have to back and get more camping supplies I can but I really do not want to do that.

It enchants your weapon for extra attack and damage.

Ty, sorry for so many noob questions.
Basically it turns the weapon temporarily into a +2 weapon (giving it a +2 enhancement bonus to attack and damage rolls). Since it's an enhancement bonus, it doesn't stack with any magical enhancements on the weapon - so applying it to a +1 longsword would just turn it into a +2 longsword, not a +3 (the oil's enhancement bonus overlaps the enhancement bonus on the weapon).

It's like Viagra for your weapon.
