Does Trip function correctly?
In PnP the trip combat maneuver is in place of a melee attack, which means e.g. that (a) if you're doing a full attack you can do multiple trip attempts (or combine trips with normal attacks) and (b) you can use things like Fighting Defensively with it.

In PK Trip is its own action, so you can only do one of them a round, and it does not appear to count as an attack to do Fighting Defensively with (I have tested this)

Are these bugs or is it supposed to be that way?

To add on to the question...should a "reach" weapon (fauchard) work with trip? I know it "works" mechanically (I have used it to trip humanoids) should I be able to trip from the weapons range? It doesn't appear that i can.

Also...AoOp? Should I be able to substitute trip instead of an attack? It doesn't appear I can. I believe PnP allows it?

Thanks! Sorry if I am stealing your post amont319.

Did some testing at some point and it looks like:

If you activate the trip modal you will make all your attacks as trip attempts. Including iteratives and AoOs

If you don't activate it then you never make trip attempts.

The reach rules are weird in PF:K. In tabletop a reach weapon can't strike or trip opponents immediately adjacent to you, but could strike and trip opponents that you threaten. In PF:K you can strike any enemy in reach range but it seems like you can only trip adjacent enemies. Of course it's hard to tell since you can't see attack ranges in game XD

I see...if I "right click" trip it'll work for AoO. Too bad the reach mechanic is busted! I had a plan!

Thanks for your imput.
