Old Sycamore Depths...I have found a use for the Frog room.
Up until today, I used to just go in, take the golden frog statue and, then, kill the frogs. Today, by chance, I needed to rest, quite badly. So, I took a chance to see if I could camp there. I could. Now, I cannot say with any assurance that it is ALWAYS safe, but, it seems from this first encounter, that it may very well be.

Just an observation, which, I hope, helps someone in need. After all, once you rest and clear out the bottom level there, you can go back and take the golden frog.

Frog legs anyone? :)

Can't you rest anywhere in the depths? Does it let you hunt?

You can camp anywhere as long as you have camping supplies.

Can you hunt in there? I always exited and camped outside - still new to the game and I heard that if you rest close to wildlife then the hunting times are reduced, not sure if true or not.

Also hi Evangeline :)

No hunting in dungeons. Unfortunately the entire Stag Lord area is a "dungeon", too.
So, buy a small bag of holding and bring some supplies :)

No, there's no hunting, but, I think as long as the frogs are friendly, you don't get interrupted.

Hi, Evangeline! Um...Maybe I shouldn't zap the elk then. Ooooops. LOL

For the Stag Lord you can just go to the main map and camp without moving/spending time. ;)

No guarantee. I rested next to a group of Elks, with a +10 to hunting. It failed and took 16 hours. :)

Eh interuptions seem pretty rare in the first place so not sure how you know this unless you tested it repeatedly.

Speaking of Elk, if you cast healing AOE near them, they take offense and attack.

Teao, I belive if you read my original post, I did say this was an observation that has not been tested. That would extend to the post you are quoting.

I'm confused what you're actually telling us then. With rations you can camp anywhere in depths and not getting interupted is pretty common. When you camped elsewhere in depths did you get interupted a lot?

I think it is a place where you won't be interrupted, as in a zero chance. It's just an idea, but, as I said, my party was in woefull shape thanks to my just driving on. When I rested there, it was a thought, since the frogs don't attack you, that, maybe, they are guardians of the area, and the game gives it a zero chance.

And yes, my experience in the depths is that unless you are in one of those cubbies you can climb into, being interrupted is fairly common.
