What is behind Astradaemon door?

I went other corridor, and now door to him is locked. My other save is very far; is it worth to load it and replay the whole dungeon?

There are barbarian prisoners, you can free them is you wish too.

Are they important to plot? Is there some unique loot I may be missing?

You can easily ignore it. I found the demon too annoying to kill.

Its a tough guy, i must admit. But somebody stated, that he killed this demon (its no demon, its a deamon, if i recall it right) just with this headband, which makes 6 damage every round. Give it to your rogue, let him come hidden to the demon and see the demon die without bigger problems.

Oh lol. I know the item you mean. Is that a bug? I'd expect the effect to cause aggro.
