Just Got Flat-Footed on Character with Uncanny Dodge...
Minor Act 2 Spoiler: I entered the Athletics check area in the Mud Witch Hut map in the Northeast. Hodag attacks my character who has Rogue 4 (Uncanny Dodge), and the combat log says character is flat-footed and is not getting Dex bonus to AC.

Uncanny Dodge reads "The character can react to danger before her senses would normally allow her to do so. She cannot be caught flat-footed, nor does she lose her Dexterity bonus to AC if the attacker is invisible. She still loses her Dexterity bonus to AC if immobilized. A character with this ability can still lose her Dexterity bonus to AC if an opponent successfully uses the feint action against her."

Are you ♥♥♥♥ing kidding me with this? My Crusader doesn't get 8th level Domain Power (Guarded Heath broken), my Ranger's Two Weapon Fighting is broken, Monk Flurry of Blows doesn't work, and now THIS???

♥♥♥♥ this game is such a tease, so much promise but man these ♥♥♥♥ing bugs are getting old.

Difficult terrain and certain spells can still render your character flat footed.

Do you know the area I referred to in OP, would anything there legitimately stop Uncanny from working?

As far as I know, Hodags dont immobilize or use feint..

That part about difficult terrain you mentioned is not stated anywhere in the description of the feat, and I'm pretty sure that area isn't difficult terrain anyway.

My guess is that they didn't put in code that makes a difference between being surprised because of being attacked from stealth and being flat footed because you lost your initiative in round 1.

Even though Uncanny Dodge specifically says " nor does she lose her Dexterity bonus to AC if the attacker is invisible"

Sometimes I feel that my chars are flat footed during the entire first round no matter initiative, but it's just enemies having insane initiative values. I have seen zombies on level 10 with +9 initiative with enemy stat adjustment on "much easier enemies". A zombie. I seriously don't know what the devs were thinking.
Just start all combat with a level 1 summon to burn first round. My current Baron has a +12 initiative bonus and enemies get me flat footed at least 70% of the times, and again, on "much easier enemies"
