Bulettes are *that* bad for stability ?
My warden (Ekundayo) tells me there'a an endangered species of bulettes in my kingdom. If I say 'I don't care, don't protect them', everything is fine, but if I say 'ok, let's protect them', I get a +1 to Stability (why ?) but more important, my kingdom goes from Stable to Worried.

That seems a little too much for me...

All of your citizens are secretly retired adventurers with +5 longswords of bulette bane hanging over their fireplaces.

Yeah. I mean, they were able to survive the monster attacks and so. And only a few years ago, this area was ruled by a bandit king, which was a kinda harsh ruler/killer. You must have some survive abilities then, i guess. and a bunch of weaponized farmers with poison and traps should be able to deal with an land shark.

bring in some cow, stuffed with explosives should solve some problems either. But i still think, this sharks are no real danger, but more of an addition to the varity of lifeforms there. So, keeping them in some area is improving the country more then allowing some farmers to farm there. There is more enough free land where they can do their stuff.
I just tried assissting my high priest, and went down one step further from worried. I failed a bunch of events, but my BP was a solid 200+. I reloaded the save, and this time I skipped time and did the events one by one. I didn't fail any, except for one opportunity this time, and my status didn't fall down. So failing events = lost kingdom status.
Also, it's quite annoying that some events, like "save a noble woman who have shored her boat!" can only be resolved by specific advisors. In this case it was only the general who could help her. Why? Why can't I send my warden, diplomat or regent to solve this issue? For general problems that have nothing to do with the army, it feels artificially limiting to ONLY be able to use the general.

I was under the impression that most of the citizens are new settlers. I mean, there's just two existing villages and one is in ruins. And Jubilost's article makes the place sound like the unsettled frontier.

Come to think about it, that was left kind of unclear in the game. Where do all the people come from?

That or the Pathfinder Society took care of it.

There were a few villages in the outskirts, like near the silver lake or wassisname. And I'm sure there were farms scattered around. But most of the people living there, I guess, are travelling merchants, hunters, (grown up) children from nearby farms with too many siblings, some formers bandits maybe, or at least people that were working for/with the Stag Lord, and a lot of people coming from Brevoy.

It is, as i said, because you were VERY close to the shift, and that particular choice you made just gave it the final push
Very, very unlikely.
I say it again : I failed some events after that and was still Stable.
