"Pitaxian Influence" events...

You lose 20 to almost alll stats on a "success". During the war of the river kingdoms chapter this event happens constantly, multiple events appearing on top of each other.

That's nothing, I just got hit by a "Moderate Pitaxian Influence" problem that gave me -40 to Community, Loyalty, Economy, Divine, Arcane and Culture and that was considered a "Triumph". What I don't understand is how a -40 to 6/10 of the different stats considered "Moderate".

I got one "disaster" giving me -40 on everything mentioned above. Then I got a "triumph" giving me -60. Both happened on my way home after defeating the pitaxian king. The "triumph" I guess refers to the "pitaxian first" policy, as getting my kingdom to crumbling must feel like a success to them.

For the events that decreases kingdom stats over time until the event is resolved (either with success or failure), on resolve I think the overall stats modifier since the event started are displayed, and not applied. For example if you succeeded (+5 to a stat), but until then you took -5 to the respective stat four times, on success it will show -15.

It is actually quite simple, you waited to long to deal with the problem. The longer you wait, the worse it gets.

But yeah, just kill Irovetti ASAP, that's all. All main line quests and curses need to be handled ASAP just to avoid/minimize such kind of problems

I'm pretty sure people here are talking about the bugged event card which appears right after you deal with Irovetti even if you didn't have it before entering Pitax. I'm not even sure it really cause you to lose stats.

PS: I love Pitaxian influence. Gives +10 to 6 stats on Triumph.

I dealt with the bards, the bandits and the pirates and put my best advisors on solving the influence issues. I failed once while being in the palace fighting the king. It is really hard to understand how this works, and I am happy for kaymarciy that gains 10 rather than loosing 60.

If the -60 page had a "sum" or success (-20) +disaster (-40)=triumph (-60) I would at least have a clue. I should probbably go back and see how much I really lost - but this game is really good, despite it's bugs, so I'd rather just keep playing, hoping that the next patch will clear things up a little.

weird i gained a bunch of stats when i succeeded... are you sure it's a loss?
