Gold - for what is it ?

Im in act 3, siting on 250000 gold. Is it good for somthing in the game ? i mean...... NOONE from traders have anything worth buying..... should i convert all into BP rather ?

BP,and even more BP. You're gonna need it.. Found an exploit that let me pile on 1,000,000 gold and spent most on BP and I could have used even more. I'm seeing merchants now that sell very nice looking gold scale armor for 100k more than what you have there.

You have a great buying opportunity at the beginning of chapter 5 where you can easily drop half a million plus.

BP. In late game you will find some shops that have a lot of great items but outrageous prices - there are two in Pitax at the tournament and one before you enter the House At The Edge of Time.

Late game items can cost 100K+ each. What you have is chump change, not enough to even outfit half the party with +5 artifact weapons.

How do you get so much gold? I am after season of bloom and I never had any spare gold because I spend it on BP all the time and I never seem to have enough

Did you guys who had that much coin not buy bp? I got to start of chapter 4 and has nowhere near enough bp to build up all my towns and cities, and that's using all my coin for bp! Did you guys just not buy any?

Only items that I would've wanted to buy from the merchants cost more than 400.000 -- and I had nowhere near that much even after looting and selling pretty much everything.

All income combined, I think I made about 500K by the end of the game. No idea how we're supposed to be able to afford the merchant prices, without using exploits.

...should've just used all of my gold on buying BP, that seems like the only reasonable use.

Well I feel as well, unless you meta game and know what drops where, there's always the chance that you'll buy that +5 weapon, then pick up a +5 with some amazing enchantment. So I've always got the hesitation of spending money on items and just buy bp instead.

And when you didn't buy bp, how is your kingdom being developed as you just don't get enough?

At rushlight tournament there are some amazing items (including a ring for over 300000) so I regret converting gold to BP. The shops are no longer available after the event finishes...

At the tournament i had about 1,2 mil stashed (didnt buy much bp) and managed to afford 2 items i hadnt seen before a + 6 belt of physical perfection and a nice ring. At that point i was then broke for the rest of the Game :D

How? Where did you find that much gold?

Like I said, I looted and sold nearly everything (except for heavy armors worth couple of gold each) -- and that only amounted to about 500K in total. I think I had about 300K by the time the tournament started.

Like I said, I looted and sold everything -- and that only amounted to about 500K in total.

2 High perception characters, 2 High Trickery and then grab everything. (Armags Tomb for e.x before the tournament has several items worth up to 200k each but theyve got perception dcs of 35+). Also every magical item that wasnt needed on my main 6 guys, just sell it. Didnt eq the other Characters much.
