Report a translation problem
The Kingdom event is just an indicator to tell you that something is happening.
It doesn't appear to be unfinished at all. You get a red "something changed" flag on your capitol after the kingdom event concludes, and if you go check out the relevant area in your capitol a quest begins.
but wait not only do u get an unlock...we are throwing in a follow unlock just for playing online...all u have to do to get this fabulous deal is kill 16 more mobs...well that and pay for shipping and processing...
the quest chain isnt bugged u just havent done what is necassary to activate it yet (as with most "bugged" quest chains-they arent bugged u just havent unlocked them yet)
so super big hint: be a completionist if u want to unlock quests go out and EXPLORE
well to be fair there are two...one by octavia and reg...and THE OTHER ONE....

When? I have 18 Projects waiting, that 12 of which require 2 weeks each.
-- Every time I leave the capital to do a quest, 2-6 Events pop up and then auto-fail (because the Kingdom button isn't available ... unlike what the game instructions say).
-- When I do stay in the capital, all of my advisors are constantly busy doing tasks, and other events pop up and fail because they are busy with another task.
-- I understand they want to make the game challenging, but even on normal, it's frustrating beyond belief.
So tell me ... WHEN am I supposed to have time to explore? I barely have HALF the map explored ... because I just don't have time. Jeezuhs.
Not only that, while I DO enjoy the quests at the beginning (because I have time for them, where the country won't implode), the Events that DO pop up are so vague it's idiotic (Vordakai ... and now this one, Uncanny Well) with no hint of where to even begin.
If you think what you offered is a "super big hint", you must be one of the Devs.
The Well you're mentioning just says, "You have a tingling feeling."
Timing helps, use the first 2 weeks of the month for exploring and remain within your borders for the last 2 weeks. You will only get a fail event in 2 ways, 1: On the 1st day of any month, 2: When you have less than 30days left on the curse timer.
The projects that take 2 weeks of the PC's time are not particularly critical compared to exploration, you can pretty safely prioritise them behind picking up map points.
This won't make it much easier, but at least you can be confident you won't return to your borders to a bunch of failure messages.

It's very flexible in its options. If nothing else, you can eliminate the need to sit and wait while advisor upgrades and such are completed. You still need to start such projects in the capital, but you can make it so you don't have to babysit your advisors while they work.
