never played the boardgame, but am a fan of CRPG in general, so this interests me a lot. not sure which edtion to buy, but I am thinking of getting it.
We Oracle fans can only hope, and if it is I pray to all the forces in the universe they add the dragon mystery.

The archtype that changes the witch to a spontaneous caster, really helps with that comparison. I particularly like combinding the two archtypes that make her into a spontaneous caster and the one that has a fey lean.
However if you're going to use the witch as a acceptable comparison you might as well use the Arcane (Sage)archtype Sorcerer as a acceptable comparison as well. Arcane Bolt isn't as powerful as Eldritch Blast but I'd accept it s a less powerful variant.
Also the Warlock does exist as a archtype of the Vigilante, though how much it resembles the 3.5 one is obviously lesser. :)

I still loved it though and wanted to use it to recreate nina from Breath of Fire 2.
