Custom Magic Items?

So, I'm at right about Chapter 2-3 [the nobles hunt] and I'm starting to get a handle on the artisan thing. But I have one question.
Do artisans ever make customized weapons /armor /items?
The way it's worked with Bokken is very generalized ['I need more ointments' and I get one Oil of Improvement], which isn't very useful.

so far same issue, but as far as i've heard or seen no. the same already has pre-defined magic weapons and armor you can find or buy.

No crafting i game. You can just order general caregories of items from artisans.
