Stuck under old sycamore tree

I have like 9 days left to kill the stag lord. I have done everything on the map. I think I need to do something in the caves or under the sycamore (where I am at), but I have been everywhere and have NO idea what to do.

I have returned the spider mandible. I have killed a giant centipede. I have repaired a bridge. I am evil, and there is a worg I need to lure someone to, but all the kolbolds and mites are dead.

I am totally lost what to do. I have been everywhere in the caves and under the tree.

Any ideas anyone?

You need to go to Thorn Ford and follow the quest path from there.

Did you open the door next to the mite queen and fought tartucio?
Have you been to the temple of the elk and defeated the dire bear?

i hope i'm not giving too much away here:

did you go to the river camp and defeat/discuss things with the bandits?
did you get captured by the technic league, and rescue your bud?
did you go to the temple of the ELK and defeat all the critters there and recruit tristian?
did you go to the crypt thingy and find that torticcuio isnt there?
did you go to the beginning of sycamore or pine grove and see torticcuo run like a scared wabbit?
did you then go the big ole sycamore tree?

No. This is where I am stuck. I see the door with the guards that is locked. I think the queen is on the other side. On the map it has an unusual symbol.

I have been everywhere else tho, insluding the room south of the queen that looks like it should go to her, but it is blocked by a wall.

I am trying to figure out how to open the door to see the queen.

did you rescue two of your comrades? (the other guys on tortugas team)?

if not:
go outside
enter in the southeast corner of map
follow right wal.

To open the door with the unusual symbol you need to get 2 items - one from the Kobold leader and one from the queen of the mite leader ( either kill them or peacefully get it from them )

The queen mite is located a bit north of the unknown symbol, you should have access to her without doing anything special.

The kobold leader is behind a door that is easy to miss, maybe that's your problem?

This is probably it. I have rescued the two comrades already. So where is this Kobold leader? Maybe I can start googling this. I have not got anything from those two that I can think of.

Start from the bottom right of the old sycamore map on which the queen is too. Go almost all the way up to the top, still on the right side of the map. There’s a really easy to miss door to the kobold.

This is probably it. I have rescued the two comrades already. So where is this Kobold leader? Maybe I can start googling this. I have not got anything from those two that I can think of.

To be frank, if you only have 9 days left, completing the end of Chap 1 in time might be out of reach.

You'll have to finish the tree, then go back up north to trigger a thing, then go back down south, fight the chapeter ending set piece, then return back up north before the 9 days are up.

Optimally:

Day 1 finish tree (as it sound like he pretty much finished it and only the last bit is missinf)

Day 2: go to oleg (buy some rations so the next rests don’t take ages on hunting)

Day 3: go to stag lord

Day 4-5: deal with stag lord

Day 6: go back to Oleg

Leaves two days that can be wasted on even more rest and travel time.

There was 1 companion that was being held in a jail cell with the kobolds ( lots of them ) - that's were the leader is, did you rescue a companion from the kobolds?
