Finding Armag's Tomb, i am beyond Confused
So it says you have to do these missions in the kingdom management ok, que those up, then i read hey go do this event on the river ok, but no matter if you do it or not... Armag always finds the tomb first, and i have been unable to locate it via perception at all... This whole event feels very very very confusing and alot about that just doesn't add up. Why ami failing part of the quest? if i'm doing what the quest asked me to do? even IF you go out and do the story book STILL cant find the stupid thing...

Is this just bugged or what the hell is going on with this one... i really don't like this quest line it's not explained very well and what you are suppose to do isn't clear and then you randomly fail part of it anyway?

This may not be the case, but I imagine it's not possible to find the tomb before he does. However, the thing that I know changes based on whether you find it within Owlcat's silly hidden timer limit is that if you take too much time he becomes no longer saveable because he's been too consumed by the sword whereas if you make it within Owlcat's silly timer I think you can save him.

i keep reading you can find it with a perception check but lol Jaethal has a +26 and she still cant find the stupid thing... i just feel like this section is poorly constructed and explained...

Armag will find the tomb first, that is part of the story. As far as finding the tomb itself, yep it's a pain in the ass. Did the event in kingdom manager finish (it is only one in projects)? If so and you did the river your only choice is to go to the place it's supposed to be and look. Jaethal has the highest perception for some reason. You can buy goggles in the capital that give you +5 perception if it is still elluding your characters.
The tomb itself is just a tiny amount south of the G in Glenebon.

Yes you can. I was expecting since I did the Betrayer first he would be a gonner, but nope.

i just find it odd you have to wait for the project but you fail part of the quest by waiting for the project...

You shouldn't. The timer on this quest is actually quite long. I did the betrayer questline first, screwed up the river and so had to wait for the project to finish, wandered around for awhile, and somehow still got there fast enough.

I had a ton of those 2-week long rank ups and the 1 week projects because I was just rushing the previous main quests. In the time I was getting rank ups done, new rank ups kept popping up. I thought maybe I could get some of them done at this point, but nope, Owlcat figured otherwise.

i'm saying as i wait for the project to finish i get a " failure " in part of the quest, and i did betrayer first as well, and then backstabbed lady aldori cause =3 evil

Edit:

Reloaded a save from yesterday and went back and it seemed to work properly this time i dunno if it was bugged or i started the project late or what but very strange.
