Extraplanar creatures

Can someone explain what extraplanar covers in pathfinder as google is having a hard time explaining this one.

I'm guessing at elementals but what else? Is it anything summoned? Magical beasts? Fey related?

Anything that doesn't originate from the material plane - the world you play in. So, elementals, angels, fiends and summoned creatures, mostly.
Technically, some "first generation" fey or aberrations could count as well, but for the sake of statistical ease, I think they don't. Magical beasts, also, are supposedly indigenous to the prime, so those are never extraplanar.
