Death domain: multiclass lvls added?
If one of my characters(say, Jaethal) starts as an Inquisitor with the Death domain, then multiclasses into Cleric(also with the Death domain), do the Inquisitor and Cleric lvls get added together when determining the Death's Embrace ability for the Death domain?

In other words, will she get the special Death's Embrace 8th lvl ability at Inquis1/Cleric7, or has to wait till she hits Inquis1/Cler8 ? Would a Inquis4/Cler4 get it?

I can tell you they should, but I'm uncertain if that is reflected in-game.

Does anyone have a lvl 7+ Jaethal with enough xp to lvl, that they can try to give her 1 Cleric lvl and see if this works? Thanks.

Does anyone have a lvl 7+ Jaethal with enough xp to lvl, that they can try to give her 1 Cleric lvl and see if she gains the Death's Embrace 8th lvl ability as a multiclass character(without being a "pure" lvl 8 Inquis or Cleric)?

(Death’s Embrace (Ex): At 8th level, you heal damage instead of taking damage from channeled negative energy. If the channeled negative energy targets undead, you heal hit points just like undead in the area. There are cheats on nexusmods.com that you can use to edit a save to give Jaethal the xp to test it yourself.

btw i don't think it's working as intended as she was standing in some negative energy trap the other day and only saving vs will instead of healing.

Hmm, weird, what about if you channel positive energy or do a cure wounds on her, does she get healed?

Channeled possitive heals have no effect on her. Possitive heals she is immune to.

Oh, that stinks. I was hoping the Death's Embrace capper would let her be healed normally...
