Kesten dead :( (spoiler)

So im at the the womb after I defended the city from an invasion of monsters and I figured I had to give up 1 or the other. City or Kesten. So was an easy choice at the time . Ill go protect the city.

So im wondering is there a way to do this with a better outcome? City is fine and Kesten is alive?

Also its too bad that you cant tell Kesten to go scout rather than go mano a mano with an owlbear...But no such option xD

I think if you are lawful you can order him to also protect the city in which case he should survive.

At least he did for me.

Go after Kesten first, keep him alive, then run back to the city to protect it ASAP. You can rest once inbetween without consequence.

For all the people that gripe about being Lawful, this is *one* of the perks.

If you do Kesten part first and then rush back to the city without resting, you can save both. I have both of them alive.

He died in my run as well, don't worry though he turned up again randomly in act 5 or 6 and is now my warden lol

You can even rest once after saving him, atleast i tought i did it before entering the capital.

Ah cool xD Well even if he didnt I wouldnt mind much. Just had to know if there was a better outcome. Good to know!

kesten is pretty dumb to get himself killed so I guess he can hug the floor for now xD
