Cold Iron Weapon locations
Any good spots for Cold Iron gear?
All I've found thus far is a +1 Cold Iron Dagger and +1 Cold Iron Earthbreaker at a vendor.
Still in Chapter 2.

The same vendor should have a cold iron handaxe and longsword (both +1). Didn't find any others besides those.

I've been playing for days and haven't found a single cold iron weapon lol. Not sure what chapter i'm in though, haven't filled out all the council positions yet, only have 7 of them i think but have 6 regions.

any +3 or better weapon should ignore DR/cold iron, so you should only need them until you find +3 (or better) stuff.

some enemies have high DR of 10 if not mistaken? how is +3 weapon able to ignore DR? is it part of pathfinder ruleset or something?

there are vendors in the kingdom or oleg's that sells cold iron. but mostly are just +1 weapons. i'm on curse part 3 i haven't get across any +3 weapon yet.

even there is.. i don't find them appealing especially it without the +1d6 or +2d6 flame/freeze/acid weapon.

Yes, +3 and better weapons count as Cold Iron for the purpose of ignoring DR.

The notation: DR x/<something>, using the <something> allows you to ignore the DR.
So DR 10/- can't be ignored, but DR 10/cold iron can be ignored by cold iron weapons.
+3 or better weapons count as cold iron as far as bypassing damage reduction, so that is probably why the only cold iron weapons in the game are +1s...

I found a +3 Cold Iron Waraxe in Adamantine Shield Fortress

It looks like Chilly Midnight and Unbending Valor are +3 and +4 cold iron weapons too, but the cold iron does nothing at that point...
(it is *mostly* on lower + items, I didn't search through game data before last post)

Cold Iron doesn't do much but it does *something* on +3 and better weapons: it negates Crag Linnorm's regeneration.

I'm sorry for resurrecting old thread, but I winded up here as I was having trouble with Crag Linnorm in Tenebrous Depths, and despite people here quoting Pathfinder ruleset of +3 weapon beating cold iron requirement, IT DOES NOT APPLY TO THE GAME PATHFINDER KINGMAKER. Do not rely on your high + lvl weapons to bypass even if the pen and paper version would allow it.

I had with me +3 mace that did nothing to Crag Linnorm, but +1 Cold iron longsword killed it.

I think you are mixing things, +3 weapons acting as cold iron for the purpose of overcoming DR is diferent of acting as cold iron for the purpose of disabling regeneration, so as mentioned in some other posts in this thread +3 or more cold iron weapons have this as their sole reason for existing.

The cold iron dagger is at Old Sycamore (outside area): SW of map is a small hidden area with a locked chest & 3 mites.

Later (i'm guessing act 3) you can buy a 2H hammer from the vendor in your city on top of those other 3 weapons he was allready selling.
