Silver weapons?
Had a random encounter with 3 werewolves while my current party was 2nd level. I haven't seen "silver" weapons in game yet, any idea of where I can get some? After a reload I did finally win. It kind of turned into "protect the sorceror". I'd rather have the whole team prepped and ready.

I haven't seen any either, come to think of it.

There aren't any. You just have to out damage their regen/DR.

Or handcrossbows, or darts....
It's so frustrating that this stuff isn't in the game yet!

I am pretty sure that magical weapons hit werewolves also (anything with a +# on it, but does not include the masterwork ones). I have an encounter with a group of 3 of them and I think I killed them with the weapons I had which were all magical weapons.

Couldn't we just nail some silver coins onto a club and..oh wait.. no silver coins :P

right now it looks like major damage, damaging spells alchemical fire, and acid work.

Don't need any kind of special attack just DAMAGE. They have DR against everything it seems but if you are hitting them for 40 Damage you do 30. DR creatures are only hard to kill for low level characters that use 1h weapons who struggle to do more than 10 points of damage.

Nope. In the Pen and Paper games, magic beats the DR for were creatures but in this game it's only silver. Haven't seen any silver weapons myself either. Makes them tougher then they should be.

Not in this game, just went after the wererats...+1 weapons being reduced.
You guys aren't completely right. Higher levels of magic weapons over come certain dr's, for silver it's +3 magical enhancement, which in level 10 and may have seen 1 weapon like that.

There is actually a singular Handcrossbow +1 that I've found in the game. Got excited - then never found another; then was sad. :P

Interesting, now can anyone confirm that this is how it works in this game? Also at what point does one get +3 weapons?

only if it's +3 enchantment for silver/cold iron, +4 is for adamantine DR, and +5 is for alignment bypass like holy or evil, but it still doesn't stop regeneration if it has any.

Stag Lord battle is easier than this one. Go there first. Then on wererats, buff up completely, get Fire Resist. Faerie Fire and can help your melee. Direct damage spells bypass their damage resistance.

Nice rewards after.
