Antiquities Collector

Does someone like that actually exist or should I just sell all that stuff to a merchant? And if they exist, where can I find them? All the stuff is weighting way too much already.

Somebody exists once you get your baron title :) You'll find him hanging out in the throne room to the left of the door.

Wow, I already cleared the Troll Lair and most of act 2 in general yet I missed it. Jeeez.

when does this collector arrive?

The story teller doesn't seem to be the antiquities expert, he has no interest in items marked as such and items that are part of a set are marked as such--"shard of a destroyed artifact". Has anyone gotten him to accept Taldan, Restovic, or Cypress Queen items?

.... this are collectors items. you collect them, until your collection is full and then you can get some better item and a lot of money. Plus story.
If its working. I am in chapter 6 now and half of them do not work, as there seems to be a bug around, that the guy does not accept them anymore, if they have ever been in the store box.
