Blindness, really?
So, three of my characters (Level 3) got blinded in a random encounter with a bandit necromancer. Which means my party is now almost useless.

Alright, so how do I fix this? The alchemist in Oleg does sell remove blindness potions, for 600 gold each, but he only has 2. Second option is the scrolls from the cleric at Olegs, cheaper and he stocks 99 so i grabbed some of those. Problem with that is that they are DC35 to cast...

What the F?

It sounds like you should have gotten next to the necromancer faster. Blindness deafness is one of the most iconic spells in pathfinder for a reason.
Invest in getting a cleric for remove blindness/deafness at level 3 spell

Yes and in pathfinder you can hire someone to cast the spell on you, there seems to be no such option here.

I have a level 3 cleric, that is currently blind. The problem is getting 2 more levels for remove blindness without a party.

you should have found some scrolls. thats what i did.

Honestly? edit your save. like, if this was a tabletop scenario, i would throw in some sort of random encounter to cure the blindness in return for possible bad things down the line, but he DM in this game is just sadistic, and not willing to be nice

Change the difficulty options, there is one that lets you remove effects like this on rest.

Just put it on remove debuffs when sleep.

Yeah I know about the setting I can change, and yes it would solve the problem. I'm just pissed that they introduce mechanics such as blindness, which is pretty severe but often leads to a fun little sidemission to fix it, and then skip out on introducing any way to reasonably fix it.

It's the implementationt hat's the problem....don't care what the base rules are the point should be to craft a fun experience. It shouldn't last that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ long period.

There should be more vendors and casters to give services, period.

This isnt' a simulator and even at that this game fails. 45 pounds for a shield? LMFAO
They don't even have basic weight untis correct to be installing these speed negatives and such. The game plays horribly, just don't get why they didn't tune the game to be...ya know...fun to play.

In Options under Difficulty, there's an option to remove negative effects on rest.

It could be worse. In our regular Pathfinder tabletop game, my character who is deaf got blinded by a bad guy. Talk about a bad day. Can't hear, can't see.

We ended up spending a lot of time looking for a potion or scroll to cure me. Bad things happen in the regular Pathfinder table top game too. And now since I know how much it sucks to be deaf and blind, I made sure I had extra potions of remove blindness...

But unlike in my regular Pathfinder tabletop game, isn't there a handy little setting that you can change to make blindness temporary?

The spell Blindness or Deafness have been ridculous since AD&D. Welcome aboard.

The design is there to make sure you have a some what balanced party since it is a party game so you can compensate merits and flaws one way or another.
