How do I increase stability?
If I wait 6 turns my kingdom is destroyed and I lose the game.
I have pretty good values for all stats, except stability, which is 0.
I need to increase it quickly if I am to survive this playthrough.

Military building link to longhouse gave bouns to stability, I think. I think key is balance of builidng and get most of it by reading building what it's do and gave more if next to other building.

Hm. So it's too late now, I'll just have to load an old save then?

Same situation for me...well gues I got to uninstall then...the last save where I can actually change things regarding the stability was 2 absolutely ♥♥♥♥ hard, and long missions ago...not gonna play those 2 again...I actually loved the game but that just pushes it from 9.5/10 to 5/10...retarded game design
LOL seems here the same, as I am not able to kill the Troll King , I am loosing every month - 3 ... and still not able to kill the damn Troll King on NORMAL, tried slow, haste, dispel magic etc. even buffed the main char with 15 !!! potions ... LOL nothing not able to hit him or our beloved enemy ONCE ... at normal ...

okay now going there and try it with story mode, maybe once again with normal :-) ...

i feel like its super obvious to build a longhorn which upgrades to townhall in the center of each town... its also obvious to have a fast travel from safe spots to map but ya know

You can change combat difficulty at any moment, even in the very middle of a fight. If you really can't handle an encounter, don't be ashamed to lower the difficulty for this specific encounter.

Is there an advisor who increases stability? I'm in act 4 and still haven't found one...

Ekund. He unlocks or should after your general reaches level 4 and requests more help.

On a side note: I didn't get him unlocked until late in Act 3. Spamming of Dark Epidemic, and resulting rioting led to my kingdom failing anyway. Regardless that loyalty, economy, community, military and others were close to or over 100. Once stability tanked the kingdom failed.

Dang, so it actually killed your game? Like your kingdom failed and you got game over? II really don't want to ose my entire playthrough because of this inane kingdom management system which is poorly explained and poorly designed.

Yep. Over 50 hours (I play usually offline) gone. My kingdom went from serene status to crumbling in less than two months. Once it starts to descend your advisors stats drop (crumbling stage they lose 4 or 6 points) making it hard if not impossible to recover. The only advisor I had that was still "winning" was Reg, but it wasn't enough.

This was after I had beaten the Bloom, I was still getting hammered by the Dark Epidemic pop-ups. The newest patch was suppose to have fixed this, though I don't know if thats the case. The only way I could continue playing was by setting my kingdom to auto, but that, at least for me defeats the entire point of even running a kingdom.

Yeah the only thing I saw that actuallly increases a kingdoms stability, is a Cistern. But otherwise, based on the streams I've seen, stability happens by putting the right combinations of structures. You'd think that Loyalty would actually have some influence over stability & vice-versa, but nope.

I put my kingdom management on easy, but my kingdom is already in the "worried" column, so I don't know if it's too late already, based on what I read above.

Yea - wait until after the bloom. Then it's just undead cyclops attacks twice a month with a high DC and 28 days to resolve. I think I'm just going to stop for while until they get "normal" sorted out.

This here. It creates a downward spiral.

Gets that bad/crazy eh?

Who knows, maybe we'll be allowed to "buy" stability points or loyalty points (whatever) in the same way that we're allowed to buy BP in the game. I'll be the 1st to aknowledge just how cheap/cheezy that'd be though.
