Druid Leather armor only?
Sorry new at this
Tried creating a Druid he came with studded leather armor - picked up a chain shirt (light) but he cannot wear it? I thought Druids could wear up to medium armor? Arcan Caster not Cleric?

Druids are restricted to non metal armor.
An armor made with dragon scale is allowed. (Maybe with heavy armor feat)
You should find sooner or later a hide armor.

Until then, use barksin and have cleric cast shield of faith on him

Here's a copy / paste of the Pen-And-Paper rules about Druids' weapons and armor proficiencies:

Druids are proficient with the following weapons: club, dagger, dart, quarterstaff, scimitar, scythe, sickle, shortspear, sling, and spear. They are also proficient with all natural attacks (claw, bite, and so forth) of any form they assume with wild shape (see below).

Druids are proficient with light and medium armor but are prohibited from wearing metal armor; thus, they may wear only padded, leather, or hide armor. A druid may also wear wooden armor that has been altered by the ironwood spell so that it functions as though it were steel. Druids are proficient with shields (except tower shields) but must use only wooden ones.

A druid who wears prohibited armor or uses a prohibited shield is unable to cast druid spells or use any of her supernatural or spell-like class abilities while doing so and for 24 hours thereafter.

I am not a pro building druids...

It may be a good idea, as the armor you gain access to will rarely not accept a +2/3 to Dex.

Also, as a full caster, wisdom should be at least 15 (so with the points gained every 4 levels, at level 16 wisdom will be 19 and by level 17 you can cast level 9 spells. (Wisdom for druid should be at least 10+spell level in order to learn and cast)

The arquetype "fey destroyer" seemed interesting to me. I need to investigate more xd

Druid is more about the wildshapes and spells in pathfinder and less about weapons and armors. They can get crazy powerful at higher tierd levels. But yeah their all about the shapeshifting.

The problem is if prologue and first levels are hard... You will focus on something that work at low level.

I was thinking of an ecclesitheurge, but I went back to base cleric, to have higher armor and shield

At high level, druid are great, plus their animal companions, and they have some good spells. And spamming summons is good.
