Summon Monster spell working?

Maybe I missed something but I cast the spell and the summoned creature didn't seem to do anything. I tried to click on it (to issue commands) but nothing happned.

Any ideas please?

What level are you? Level 1 summons a monster for 1 round (6 seconds) so depending on where you summon it it will sometimes kinda run towards an enemy and disappear.

Ahh, that could be it. I was lvl2 I think, So I guess the summoned creatures/elementals auto attack? IE. I can't control them?

Hi, Summoned monsters will automatically move to attack an enemy. I don't think you can actually control which enemy it attacks. If you are not playing Inquisitor Monster Tactician then most summons last only 1 round/level . Monster Tactician is 1 minute/level

Do you think thoses summon spells are worth it?
