As long as it is in party inventory it reduces the the weight the party is carrying by 100. You may not notice much of a difference because each of the 10 rations given to you is TEN POUNDS.

Bags of holding are more or less items with negative weight in this game.

Thanks, I had the same question about using it. (yes I just bought the game for the first time to prepare for the second Pathfinder game while I don't have a powerfull enough platform for Baldur's Gate 3, I might never have).

Disclaimer: The text in parentheses is not meant to put Pathfinder down, just a clarification that my finances have limited space for games and explain why it took me that long to buy it, I'm a pathfinder DM and I will always chose Pathfinder over DnD.

That leaves me with one question now: if I buy more than one, wiill it stack? Or I'll just get the negative wieght of the biggest bag I have?

Yes. Each small bag weighs negative 100, and each large bag weighs negative 200. The total party weight on the inventory screen doesn't go below zero, but the game tracks it.
