The Orc Dude is somewhat on the lawful side, Lander is more chaotic Neutral from what I see from his reactions to certain events. The Lady I have no idea. I am pretty sure down the road everyone will have some complications and their own agenda, I have yet to reach those points though.
When you take the 500 supplies you pay 25% more for buildings I think until the 500 are payed off. I did not take the 500 supplies don't know if it pays off in the end or not.
The Envoy you pick depends on your play type, The Orc id Good, The guy is Neutral and the Older woman is Evil. Thats my understanding. Each gives bonuses, but couldnt tell you what they all are.
You get shafted in the long run if you take his help and the 500 BP, the builders guild charge 25% for buildings
As for the Envoy, I chose Lander or whatever his name is. He seems the ideal choice when you don't want to pick sides, plus being neutral means he's more tolerant to your random bursts of charity or wrath, too. Can't speak for the other envoys, but he seems pretty laid back and relaxed even when I directly oppose what he suggests.
So, where is that merchant?
By the way, the 25% debuff from the 500 BP doesn't last forever tho. At some point you'll have an event removing this debuff where you can send your treasurer, paying like 50-150 BP and taking 1 or 2 weeks to complete.
