[Mod 1.9] Adding 377+ New High Quality Portraits

Hi,

I just made a collection of high quality portraits from various artist at deviantart that i follow, for my playtrough. This is now also on the Nexus called "Heroes of Stolen Lands".

Keep in mind those are the medium pictures, every portrait has 3 sizes with different framings. Example: https://imgur.com/a/D808gL9

Installation

Extract the zip file with the "Portraits" folder into the following path:
In Windows use the Hotkey: "Win+R" copy and paste:

%userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Pathfinder Kingmaker\

If you already use custom portraits you will have an "portraits" folder. You can also manually collect the portraits you want to install, just drag&drop them into your portrait folder.

How to use

Use the little "custom portraits" icon under the offical portraits in the character creation.

Keep in Mind:
Everytime you go to the custom portraits ingame, it creates a default folder with a random number. Everytime you click on the "+" icon at the end of the navigation you create a new default folder.

Enjoy! Maybe i will update this later on, but you can do this by yourself!

I got permission from most artist to use the artwork for this "mod" but not from all. If you want an portrait to be removed because of the copyright, just tell me and i will do so.

Really great collection. The only problem I have is the increased number of portraits because it becomes more and more difficult to find the appropriate portrait.

Maybe there is already a numbering scheme for the portrait folders and I haven't realized it yet. If not - how about implementing such a special numbering system for the portrait folders.
I would propose a scheme like this

RKKnnn

with R being the race (8 races in the game means numbers 1 - 8)
KK being the 14 classes (number 01 - 14) - and 99 for all portraits which might belong to more than one class and
nnn being a consecutive number.

This way everyone could easily preselect the portraits for his character. An he could add his own portraits to the scheme using the numbers 999 backwards.

It is just a proposal and I know it's a lot of work to implement but with your collection growing any further it would greatly improve useability.

I would love to change the folder structure but if i do so, it will mess up everything for those already using the portraits. Because if you remove an folder from an active playthrough, the game will create default folders for every folder that is missing.

I'm not sure how to tell what pictures are what number, but I went to nexus to look through them again and there are none that look like pathfinder gnomes.

Okay. in Order

1. Is a female BUT a pathfinder gnome
2. This one is actually pretty good, but is very specific
3. This is a very well known halfing bard from pop culture
4. again an old man
5. another female.
6. Yet another female
7. Maybe an elf of some kind, but not a gnome
8. and another female

So the only pathfinder gnome out of here is number 1 and is awesome, but female. Number 2 is very good and very close so thank you for that one, but like i said its VERY specific to a bard type characters. Maybe a few of the others "Could" be gnomes, but they arent pathfinder gnomes. "Male" pathfinder gnomes are just hard to find. :)

lol. I know I'm being pick lol Pathfrinder just has a very specific look for gnomes. There are very good female ones, but very very few males.

Not yet but maybe in a future update. You can make one from those pictures!

I'm fiddling with irfanview right now to try and get the dimensions right. I don't have much experience editing pictures unfortunately.
