Can you not swap spells in this game?

I am talking about casters that have a specific amount of spells known, for example sorcerer is suppose to be able to switch out 1 spell at level 4,6,8,10 etc. At level 4 i see no option to switch a spell.

Bump for interest. I can swap my spell spec between levels, but not the spells. I did pick up some early spells like sleep thinking i can get rid of it later (and regretted picking up scorching ray later).

i mean i looked around but could not find any way what so ever to change a spell at level 4 on my sorcerer

if that is so then casters that are based on known spells just had more then 50% of the spells they can select turned WORTHLESS

what is spell spec

The feat Spell Specialization. The one where you can select a spell which then casts as effective caster level +2. You can re-select the spell each level up.

According to pathfinder rules you will be able to swap one spell at level 5, and then again every three levels thereafter. I certainly hope this will be the case for this game. I have Mage Armor + Shield and mage armor is already only giving +3 AC due to a +1 bracer of armor I wear.

it depends on class when u can swap and no u cant in this game, at all

Y’all need to stop taking every thing in PNP to heart. No you can’t switch them at this time. If you could it would of listed it on the class advancement tabs. Not every thing from pnp makes it into games and it’s not game breaking cause if you went in not knowing info from pnp than you never expected to be able to change spells.

Yea, I would like to know this as well. I picked Sleep for Linzi because I planned to replace it later with a more useful spell. I hope this feature is in the game.

Except that this makes sorcerer even worse compared to wizard now. I also expect a good percentage of people did research into the classes before they picked them too and probably noticed that sorcerer is able to replace spells.

Sorcerer has 6 spells to choose per spell level, so no big deal - later you will probably only use two or maybe three level 1 spells. Spontaneous spellcasting based on CHA and fire/cold/lightning bloodline makes him still a great blaster-caster.

by 6 per spell level u mean at max level a sorcerer will know

4 level 3

4 level 5
3 level 6
