Harrim is a dwarf right?
So why can't he use the dwarven weapons at all? Is this a bug...is this intended?

If it's not a bug it'll be because he turned his back on Dwarven society I'd say. He mentioned at one point wanting to be there when they all died, if only to witness their downfaill and honour Groetus.

DISDAIN FOR DWARVES.

Dwarves unlike elves do not have a racial feet for dwarven weapon. You need to invest in feats for it. Only elves have racial weapon traits. I think my pathfinder is a bit rusty.

Real dwarves can make nails.

I see, it would require 1 feat instead of 2 for dwarves to use their weapons as opposed to having to get exotic as well. Thanks!

Yeah they get treated as martial weapons I think. So dwarven fighters and Paladin can use them out of the box I think.

They can't. Weapon familiarity seems to be bugged. As a Barbarian, can't use the Urgrosh.

Why can't any of these dwarves out in the Stolen Lands do anything remotely dwarf-like at all?! First Harrim, now YOU!?

Back in my day a proper dwarf would only go adventuring to bring honor and glory to his clan! Now it's a bunch of whiny beardless boys with tragic pasts! PHAH! TORAG FORGIVE US, FOR WE HAVE SIRED SUCH ELVES FOR CHILDREN!

Come on, longbeard, and let's test the metal of your armour against mine, eh? The Urgrosh might not work, but I've got a shiny waraxe that's martial by default...

Aye, and after you two stop playing with the toys, you can come challenge me and meh Great-Axe Maw-Splitter.

BAH! I'll wield the most ancestral weapon of all: MY BLOODY NOGGIN!

I dual wield my noggin with this mattock.

Harrim is the worst kind of Dwarf. He's a divine caster and doesn't have Ironbeard available.

FOR SHAME!

SHAME!!!

Sorry for the Necro, but dwarves have Dwarven Weapon Familiarity, at least in the Deluxe edition of this game.

So Harrim should indeed be able to wield a dwarven waraxe, a warhammer, an urgosh, or anythign with the word dwarven in it.
