I swear, my characters have been hacking away at this thing for a good 10 minutes. There's no healthbar above it, it's just prone and taking the hits, won't die. Seems like a bug.

Any hit with fire or acid will cancel the regenerating, even before you knock out all it's HP. If your combat characters' best weapons aren't fire or acid-tipped, you could have a caster use Acid Splash cantrips. You can also cast Acid Maw on Ekundayo's dog.

Since then they also added "Coup de Grace" if you don't have the corresponding weapon. The character will take a full action and if the hit lands it'll kill it outright.

Acid splash from Octavia is neat as plot wise you have to fight fire immune trolls (Branded Trolls).
