Is it possible to respec your main`? can imagine there are alot of beginners that are doing pretty big build mistakes, that can totally destroy your char, if you dont have a chance to fix him?

Would like to know too. Would rather respec than edit a save and corrupt it

from what i have read i dont think so, and its quite annoying i just realised that i cannot pick tower shield specialisation for Valerie, if that is her name, because i stupidly picked shield specialisation thinking it was the same thing at the start. Now it is permanently locked out and it turns out that tower shield is kind of her thing. Like now i have to start the whole game again if i want to undo that choice - no tavern respec, no scroll, no nothing - it really really sucks the enjoyment out of the game when you literally cant make a single mistake along the way.

There is no respeccing in Pathfinder, and it should stay out of this game.

Respec I see in the nexusmods. Don't try.

If you're afraid to screw up your char then stick to pre-generated characters and auto-leveling up while you get the hang of it.

Later on you'll get the option to to hire customized companions, so you'll be able to experiment with all the classes if you want.

It's locked out because she gets it for free as she levels.

Entirely untrue, you can reclass yourself if you so choose.

If it's in the CRPG however, i'd doubt, but i'd hope so.

I'm too lazy to write why it does not work.

Retraining rules beg to differ.

There is a mod to respec. It costs 1000 GP every time you want to do it.

This sucks. I have never played 5E but I've played plenty of 1st and 2nd Edition AD&D and I like this format of strategy game so I got this. Rolled my first character (a sorcerer). I've been struggling to figure out why I can never cast magic missile and cannot memorise it. Turns out I need a Charisma of 10 for cantrips, 11 for 1st level, 12 for 2nd level....only problem is my Charisma is an 8. So now I'm just basically screwed? I've been playing this game for about 8 hours now and I have to start completely over because I wasn't aware I was screwing myself?

Sorcerers use charisma as their main casting stat. Your 8 cha sorcerer is totally non-viable. I suggest you start again with new sorceror roll that gives them something like 18 or better still 20 in charisma.

I'd be fine with respeccing as long as you couldn't respec the base class just the skills and stat points
