Main quest is stuck? (Fog)

So, I seem to be unable to advance in the main quest.

I've done the Elk Temple and the quest says to wait for the fog lifting. However, it is not lifting. I have about 30 days left on the quest to kill stag lord now since I've just been randomly walking around map trying to kill time. What am I supposed to do there?

Have you gone to sycamore cave and completed that dungeon?
Have you returned to Olegs and talked to Jhod?

Have you had a dream about a floating corpse? If so head along Shrike river, to Nettle's Crossing. If that doesn't trigger anything try Old Sycamore.

Same problem. I gakked the little prancing purple pipsqueak spy in the Sycamore, turned that quest in at the trading post. (The little smear got rezzed in a cut-scene.)

I cleared the Elk Temple of all beasties, the fountain water turned clear, etc. Rescued young priest Bear Chow and sent him to the trading post. Returned to the trading post where the nymph appeared at the gate, thanked me, gave me a necklace and said she'd show me the temple and that the fog was clearing. I then talked to the old priest at the trading post about the Elk temple location, Fog still not lifting though, can't navigate it.

I'm having a similar problem.

I've cleared the Elk Temple, recruited Trsitan and handed in the quest to Jhor but now nothing is happening.

I've explored the entire available map. Somebody mentioned a dungeon in sycamore, is it in the tree? I just have the 'investigate' icon and can't enter it.

Found it. It's not in the fog off to the west. That's other fog, that hasn't cleared yet. Head west from Sycamore, then south at the first intersection, traveling along the river. At the "T" of the 2 rivers, cross to the west. Then South-west, following the river. (River will be on your east.) You'll pass a patch of Fertile Land on the west, then hit the keep.

Still isn't working for me. I'm just getting the picture book entry where you get lost in the fog and have to turn back.

I think my issue might be different to yours...

The Dryad didn't appear and thank me after turning in the Elk Temple quest.

Also I can't get into the sycamore tree. A walkthrough I found says some kobolds should be arguing with some Mites in the area but they just aren't there for me.

I think something has fouled up somewhere and I have to restart.

Guys, the fog WILL NOT lift unless you deal with Tartuccio. You need to track him down.

After the Elk Temple, go to a location the starts with the word Pine (Sorry I don't remember the full name, make sure to turn on ''show location names'' on your map) after that you should go to sycamore tree (you need to go to it after pine if you want the quest to continue) then it should be easy to follow his trail from there.

Yeah for the fog to lift you have to do the rivalry quest with Tartuccio.

step 1: the ancient tomb, this is the first place where after some intel you find Tartuccio again
step 2: if you progress more into the story after the tomb events and Tartuccio disappearing head to the area named Pine Patch
step 3: at Pine Patch you will learn some intel about Tartuccio from some guards
step 4: you can track Tartuccio down on Sycamore (big tree thing)
step 5: the events will lead you to a dungeon that you have to clear
step 6: after finishing the dungeon events, return to Oleg's trading post

Note: I might remember some zone names and steps wrong, but I think these are the main areas required for the advancement of this quest.
Btw I had like 25 days left when I realised I actually have a timer haha. I did the Elk Temple and the whole thing successfully after it. I still had 8 days left when I finished that timed one, though I already had most of the map cleared, it was easy to navigate.

I only saw the dryad once. but i have no temple quest. I kicked tartucuiccoio's ass i got the fruit and radishes for bokken. I cant finf minervas ring (i think its gone) I beat the slavers. but no elk temple

Yeah, I actually forgot to check this thread but the key was kicking that gnome's butt.

The problem is that logically there's no story connection between these events and I had no reason to go back to that area as I had cleaned the outside of it already.

I killed the gnome and the fog still hasn't lifted. Is the Shrike River thing also mandatory?

Edit: Yes it is. You need to clear the Elk Temple, deal with the gnome, and visit the source of your nightmares.

I have done the main quest, traveled around cleared every single mound. I saw the Nymph once.
When I traveled to the Temple of The Elk after hunting down the gnome, (I got allied with the Mits, killed the kobolds, cleared the entire cave and opened up to deal with the Gnome)/
I got the cut scene where he was raised.
After this I went back to the trade post, and told the NPC, and I got that right.
Then nothing happened after that, been traveling around.
After 20 more days I visit the Elk Temple, it is EMPTY. And I had NEVER been there before. Maybe I should have gone there first not sure but when I arrive its all empty, I see the fog but no ncps, nothing.
After 25 days I get the message that teh Gnome got away........no ♥♥♥♥.
Im utterly stuck, been everywhere cleared everything, gone back to places 2-3 times. It sais I should go to the Stag Lord, but as soon as Im close to the fog Im chased out (I didnt clear the fog since I cant, no npcs to kill)....Im pretty sure the game is hyper bugged and Im ♥♥♥♥♥ and must start from teh beginning.

Guys, basicly what you have to do is explore the whole map, over and over, until you can clear the fog
