Aasimar

Human
And that's it. No alternate racial features. Still, covers the basics.
As far as the classes:
Alchemist (Core, Grenadier, Vivisectionist, Chirurgeon)
Barbarian (Core, Armored Hulk, Mad Dog, Invulnerable Rager)
Bard (Core, Archaelogist, Thundercaller, Flame Dancer)
Cleric (Core, Crusader, Herald Caller, Eccleisithurge)
Druid (Core, Blight Druid, Defender of the True World, Feyspeaker)
Fighter (Core, Aldori Defender, Tower Shield Specialist, Two-Handed Fighter)
Inquisitor (Core, Monster Tactician, Tactical Leader, Sacred Huntsmaster)
Magus (Core, Eldritch Scion, Sword Saint, Eldritch Archer)
Monk (Core, Scaled Fist, Sensei, Traditional Monk)
Paladin (Core, Divine Hunter, Hospitaler, Divine Guardian)
Ranger (Core, Freebooter, Flamewarden, Stormwalker)
Rogue (Core, Eldritch Scoundrel, Knife Master, Thug)
Sorcerer (Core, Empyreal Sorcerer, Sylvan Sorcerer, Sage Sorcerer)
Wizard (Core, Arcane Bomber, Thassilonian Specialist, Scroll Savant)
And finally prestige classes:
Arcane Trickster
Stalwart Defender
Eldritch Knight
Dragon Disciple
Mystic Theurge
Duelist
And there you have it. Now note, several of the archetypes are what I would call "Trap Options." For instance - Arcane Bomber? Tower Shield Specialist? What the actual crayon? However, there's generally speaking a lot of good options to pursue.
Humans, of course, are still the master player race as always. Freaking bonus feat makes me so mad sometimes. My halflings never measure up next to humans of the same build!
(Except that one halfling slinger warpriest I made in tabletop using that halfling sling style feat chain and that Startoss Style stuff. Oof, that was delicious.)
What do you think it would take to balance humans?
oh well yet another half assed D&D game.
thanx for answering my questions.
That said, if you didn't know PF at all, the # of classes / races available compares favorably to any other CRPG out of the box.
This is a... a huge wealth of options compared to all the CRPGs of the past that come to mind. You have tons, tons of choices. Did you really expect to have every class, race, and feat from Pathfinder included in this game right out the box?
I do want more out of the options that are presented, but to set the expectation of "I want every option that exists in Pathfinder available to me" is quite frankly a silly proposition.
I personally like Dwarf for monks since they get +2 con and +2 wisdom. Thats like getting the toughness feat for free and +1 fort saves (from the +2 con), while still actually being able to get the toughness feat. Dwarves also have other advantages (better saves vs spells, which for a monk epsecially (with evasion) is great.
There are a few other cases like that, Clerics and fighter/cleric hybrids for instance (again Dwarf really shines for that)....Human isn't always the best. Extra feat is nice, but if you already are getting bonus feats from fighter/monk etc levels, it's not as huge of a deal....and like I said....+2 in another stat may actually end up being worth more then a feat anyway.
however do i expect at least core, featured, uncommon, and standard races? yes. do i expect the core, base, alternate, hybrid, and the wealth of prestige classes and the wealth of architypes for each but the prestige classes? absolutely. all spells and feats that a normal lvl 1 - 20 character would have access to? of course. why do i expect these things? because they are infact pretty basic.
but they dont even have full access to the races and classes they do have and dont even have half of the prestige classes. you want dlc and expansions? epic levels. add a mythic campaign. add gestalt mode. and heck. about several campaigns while we're at it. both lvl 1-20 and epic level. ((im fully aware of paizo's stance on epic levels. still think they should be in the game. is partially why my group has merged a great deal of 3.5 into our games)) i remember the expansions for games like baulders gate, neverwinter nights 1 and 2. games like that. they didnt seem to have a problem with releasing expansions without cutting content that should be in the base game. so as i said. this game is half assed.
edit: they had an oppertunity to create a highly complex D&D style game the likes of which we've never seen before. with more options than any before it. they had an oppertunity to set a new standard for this type of game. they chose to do the bare minimum.
But in all seriousness, it has a decent amount of content for a "base game."
