Select character key binding

I can't quickly select character with the default ALT+(number) option or any new key I try to bind to the character selection, my only way to select a character is to mouse click.

Any way around that ? Is it working for you guys ? Is it possible it's my keyboard language (french canadian)? I am on regular QWERTY keyboard and keybind work for spell, journal, inventory, just not for character selection....

Same problem here. And what is this huge bar with CTRL+ bindings to the left? At least this thing responds to key presses, just does not seem to do anything yet.

I have the same problem. I can rebind the Select All option but the individual character selection isn't working. I've tried:

1. Rebinding to the existing (Alt-#)
2. Binding to Shift-Alt-#
3. Binding to F#

Not an earth shattering problem, but I'm happy that my keyboard just isn't dying now :)

Yes, those keybinds don't seem to work and rebinding the camera movement doesn't actually work either. The camera is always WASD no matter what you do in settings. Additionally, some settings that you change to Always will periodically revert to their default settings and you have to set them again. Seems QA must have played with the default controls only and clicked on portraits rather than hotkeys.

Same issue for me though the Backspace (default) does select the party properly. Remapping, as per the experience of others, doesn't work for me either. Very annoying as it gets a bit tedious. Hopefully they'll patch this soon.

Also have no functional character selection hotkeys (except for select all). These hot keys don't work in default and if they are rebound to different keys.... they still don't work.

Has anyone found a config or XML doc in the game directories to maybe forcibly make the keyboard changes to? Not sure how the game stores that info or where.
