Fangberry Cave Spider Swarm

Anyone managed to kill the spider swarms in Fangberry Cave? the Giant spider is easy but everything I throw at the swarms- nothing hits?

Swarms should be vulnerable to AE spells (e.g. burning hands) and very resistant to weapons.

I'm looking for this answer too, all my hits get reduced to zero, I managed to take one out, it happened so quick I didn't see it happen but I think it was from a flame burst from Linzi

also, flame form a torch should apply

Yup can confirm torch works, took me a long time to defeat them (swarms have AC of 17) and I only had two torches on me but finally did it lol. Anything with fire works, it looks like they're immune to physical weapon damage

You can use torches as weapons to. Acid, fire weapons/spells. Acid or fire bombs.

An alchemist's bombs finish them more or less instantly.
