Ok, I understand I was wrong for thinking it would have a COOP function without even looking at the description. But my point stands still, Neverwinter Nights was a game launched 16 years ago, and it had COOP function... Again, 16 years ago... And I can name many others titles...
So, while I understand a COOP function was never mentioned, I don't blame myself for thinking it would have it, hell we're nearly in 2019, WHY it doesn't have a COOP function?
Jeez, what a world where there's difference in opinion!
This game has a different focus, different priorities. You can't have it all unfortunately.
Besides only one person gets to be the King. Wouldn't make much sense Co-Op.
It's not about subjective matters, like tastes. If you don't like COOP or don't have friends to play with, go on and play single... It's not about "opinions", it's about the lack of a simple feature that was something standard in this kind of games... I mean, I don't like FIFA, and you will not see me in the FIFA forum complaining about FIFA being a game I don't like... That would be "difference in opinions"...
So, basically, lack of COOP has nothing to do with "tastes" or "opinions", it is all about Devs laziness and lack of simple features in a game launching in 2018.
Neverwinter Nights is a classic game, it launched in 2002 and we're still talking about it. Forgettable? LOL, nice joke...
"This game has a different focus and priorities"... What a vague and superficial thought, basically you said nothing... Anyway nice try.
I said the vanilla campaign was mediocre and forgettable, not the entire game itself. It was fantastic in terms of moddability and community. I'd say it was far behind the IE games in terms of a single-player experience but far ahead in terms of a multiplayer experience and moddability. That's subjective of course, if you disagree then more power to you.
You just can't have it all. Developers have limited resources and need to pick their battles. I'm not sure what else to tell you.
Also is not just some easy little add on you can just paste on tyhe end of the game because its current year. Its not a technology per se, its almost a complete reworking of the entire game and takes an enomrous amount of time and effort to do right. Some of you don't seem to understand how difficult these games are to create nor seem to have a clue what is involved. If you did you would not be acting like co-op is akin throwing another stick of RAM in the computer.
Politeness, please!
Pathfinder is based on the OG of D&D 3.0. So this game is a CRPG D&D based. That is not an "opinion". Not everything is an "opinion", some thinks are facts.
Now, saying that most games like this one don't have COOP is simply wrong and false, it's not a subjective matter because you can verify the outcome. Subjective matter is "Hey I like chocolate", "I don't", "ok".
Saying something that is not true, is called being wrong or lying, it's not an "opinion".
