Length of game

I'm interested in the game but wanted to know if anyone has an estimate of how long the game is? I generally spend a good deal of time lvling and doing all side quests, trying to beat any extra bosses etc. What an I looking at here?

Well I would have to say its comparable to other games from this genre. A minimum of 70 hrs but Im going to guess its well within the 100hr range if you do everything. I dont think anyone has been able to play it to completion yet. I havent heard anything from the dev.

think they said between 40 and a 100hrs. I could be wrong.

They said 40hrs if you just mainline the main quest, 80-100 for more of a completionist run, i.e if you explore, do sidequests etc.

I'm close to 100 hours and barely started Act IV (mainly because it's bugged), and there's still lot to do in side events/quests.

Depends on your system, too. Somebody in some other forum wrote, that he has to wait like 15 minutes up to the point that a map is loaded. He has an 8 year old laptop. For me it needs up to one minute. And calculating this stuff into can enlarge the game drastically, as you change the maps quite often.

Whatever the length ends up being, 20% of it will end up you just staring at loading screens. This game has an insane amount of load screens that take a long time, especially when you have to do Kingdom management stuff.

My load times a pretty acceptable not a real problem for me. I'm about 25 hours in and in Act 2 I should note on my 3rd character I have played through act 1 3 times now

Let me give you an example of the ridiculous loads I just had to go through. So I'm sitting in the tavern and the only thing I want to do is check on the status of my brothel in my capital city and resume my adventuring.

So I go from Tavern to main square

LOAD SCREEN

Go from main square to throne room

LOAD SCREEN

Go from throne room to kingdom management

LOAD SCREEN

Go from kingdom management to city view

LOAD SCREEN

Oh, okay, brothel is only for chaotic cities.

Go from city view to kingdom management

LOAD SCREEN

Go from kingdom management to throne room

LOAD SCREEN

Go from throne room to main square

LOAD SCREEN

Go from main square to world map

Yeah, this game is so much fun and very well made...

Also your party in this game moves SUPER SLOW. So a lot of your time will be wasted just trying to "run" from point A to point B.

The loading is a valid complaint. Regardless there is a TON of content here. Like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game IS HUGE!!!

Much bigger than what i had expected. Much bigger than PoE2

You could do this just from global map .... Maybe learn to use UI?

I can only give you one hint. Learn the spell haste, set octavias focus on it and then spam the ♥♥♥♥ out of it. So you can at least get faster from loadingscreen to loadingscreen ;P
