Fast BAB = +1 to hit per level
(fighters, monks, rangers, etc.)
Med BAB = +3/4 to hit per level
(clerics, magus', rogues, etc.)
Slow BAB = +1/2 to hit per level.
(wizards, sorcers, alchemist, etc.)
In other words, you'll get a BAB of +1 at level 2.
What feat would you recommend I take instead of weapon focus? I presume I don't need Arcane Armour Training as a Magus, or do I?
Weapon expertise is nice, since it'll boost ac a bit and you'll have the int for it.
Spell Focus: Evocation (followed later by Spell Specialization) is also a way to go.
