Class-specific outfits for the party (game option)
In game options, I tried toggling the "Class-specific outfits for the party" option off, but it seems like the characters STILL wear their class-specific outfits, clearly visable under their equipped armor.

There should be an option to completely disable all of the class-specific garments.

They can look quite odd (for example armor on top of the female alchemist's outfit (makes it look like a strange dress under just a small piece of armor, even though the armor should be a whole suit for the entire body)

We need a "we really mean it, toggle OFF" for the class-specific outfits!

Does this option remove those annoying backpacks? Or rather, is it meant to?

There's a mod on the nexus that allows to hide it.

A shame we cant have the functionality of this mod in the vanilla game. A swapable clothing slot would easily do the trick and allow us to E.g. equip a Paladins coat on a Cleric. Color change is another must have.

The setting does the opposite of what you think it does. It doesnt toggle the class specific armors. It toggles whether or not you see the actual armor you're wearing over the class stuff.

So if you really hate that your chain mail obscures seeing your full terrible ranger outfit, its the setting for you. If you're everyone else, it does exactly what you dont want.
