You should be able to leave throne room for world map.
Make it an option while leaving the throne room, something like "Join the Tavern - Join the city - Join the world map", less load times.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD YES.

And make overland map movement faster for the sake of all that is holy. QUIT WASTING PLAYER'S TIME with irrelevant things.

+10 (the # of minutes that I waste every time I need 2 loading screens and a jog across the map when an advisor wants to talk to me 5 seconds after I've left the capital)

This. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this. And you groan in frustration and start loading up a youtube video because this side journey takes 5-10mins for what should be a 10 sec quick checkup.

Also if any of you visited Pitax... How come Pitax is a much bigger and cooler city (palace has 2 levels ffs), yet the loading screens there are fast and heck, you can actually travel to tavern from main square with 0 loading :O What is this magic????

Pitax>your capital, wish could relocate there.

I'm in favor of adding this feature, but... As with many things that seem straightforward, it isn't as easy as it looks.

The problem is that there are several (the Hellknight quest is the most obvious) that absolutely depend upon the PC traveling through the market square. If the player had the ability to go from the throne room to the map then these quests become far more difficult than intended. The best solution would be to identify and modify all such quests, but that may not be an easy task -- and, in any case, adding a new, non-trivial, feature can't take priority over fixing game breaking bugs.

One thing I could propose for this is to simply add in a "new events" sign over the market square when this is the case.

Actually now I think about it, this could be added to the tavern too. Because having to check in the tavern every once in a while in case you get some tavern scene is another real pain: it takes TWO loading screens from there to reach your throne room, aka another wasted 5 mins of loading.

I hadn't thought of that, but yes, that would work (assuming, of course, that the "Exit from throne room" option takes you to the mini-map that you see when you enter the capital from the map.

However, this is still new feature work (I'm pretty confident that the logic that adds the red flags to the world map doesn't work on the mini-maps) and additoinal rework will be required to add a trigger to construct your party when exiting the capital mini-map. Nothing truly massive in scope, but large enough that there is some risk of breaking things, and large enough that it would take time from fixing bugs.

+infinity. This needs to be a feature.

Funny thing is the table already has a map. They just need to link the maps together. My game map should lead to the world map which should lead to the kingdom map and yet only world map -> kingdom map have any sort of link.

So many threads were written about this issue, but devs do not care.

It would make sense if you could dispatch someone to carry your orders around too. Having to traverse the kingdom, but being bound to only rule from the throne room itself is a bit troublesome. But that might be a bit far fetched.

That would be great. I also want my Wizard to be able to learn the Teleport spell.
