How do I progress? I can't solve the gnomes riddle, can't kill the flower, see something about a bird in a quest guide, but can't find a bird anywhere. Help me please.

In the beginning of the area there should be the bird. Make sure you arent in the more colourful side of the other world that you access with the lantern.

i have the lantern ON, i found the bird. put the bird on the dias (by the gnome), slept, got bones from dias, put bones in pond, got posioned water from pond, but now there is nothing to do...

If you haven't found the flower, then you are missing a part of the map.

Northwest end of the map has another shimmering section. Try it without the lantern.

killed treant owlbear beast, got loot off corpse, still NO flower. lantern on or off everything is DEAD

In the realm
>Pick up the bird in the first zone
>Move north
>From there go either west or east through the dim to 2nd dimension
>Talk with gnome to start quest(Gives u lantern)
>Place bird on the stone which gives an storage screen
>Rest on gnome's camp
>Pick up the dead bird's bones
>Put on the magical lantern
>Go west
>Put bones in interactable water on the way and pick it up
>Go up the hill
>On the hill's north side there is an dim, take off lantern and go in
>Use poison on the tree when talking to it
>Event starts now just kill it.

holy crap, this jsut get better and better /sarcasm

now I onyl have three people to kill one of those damn treant owlbears taht took ALL SIX of my team to kill before.... my ac 37 character cant survive that.... and im on storymode.... this is stupid

im on the easiest setting at level 10 and I cant even do this. EASY mode....

I did it with a Wizard, Barb, and Cleric. I regret my choices, but I did it.

Game settings are essentially paper game (which means -2 to BAB on all creatures, but normal crit and damage values).

You can do it!

no way you did. none of thsoe classes can come close to 37 ac, and that thing hits for 35-42 each hit. so pray, how did you 'do it'?

I used bow and one pet in the realm against the owlbear, just have the pet run 180 around the plant so the owlbear won't ever move close, just keep lagging back and forward and for the second group it only required 1-2 characters, atleast one that can tank it since no tank was needed for the owlbear anyway.

#Edit: Owlbear can't go through the plant so just have a character make him go back and forward around it.

I used every. single. heal. my cleric had to offer. I pummmmmeled it with fireballs and dragons breath... I also managed to get off a baleful polymorph and turned it into a dog.

Plus, Amiri has a hell of a lot of hit points.

Lastly, I had cold iron weapons with me. They break through the DR.
