Crisis and opportunity
How do you do when you send someone for an opportunity and THE DAY AFTER a crisis come and you need the guy you just sent? I want to stop my guy doing opportunity and switch to the crisis but I can't find how. Now I lose stats everyday and I have to wait for 20 days + 5 days of resolution .....

The only possible option here is the old mystical art of Savescumming. the one where you make a lot of save ,at least one before every bigger decision and load older saves if something does not work out.
sorry to break it to you but as far as i know there is no "abort oppurtunity" option, even though i wish there were.

I used the great savefiles invokation spell. But damn, that sucks.

This game is so bent and broken. 60 days to rebuild a temple. 60 days for some stupid trade agreement. Oh wait, 20 days into it, I have 4 crisis. Each just takes 1 day to resolve... IF I HAD ANYONE! The game suggested 3 people for other council jobs. I asked them all, they said sure thing boss! Only I don't have the option to expand past the first 5. So no one can deal with my crisis. The alternative? Go back 8 hours of game play. Don't get me wrong, I save all the time. I'll have to skip back over 15 saves to get to the decision to NOT send any advisors anywhere. Because the benefits are laughable compared to how hard the game screws you for not solving a crisis.

Any chance I could randomly "roll" a successful outcome to a crisis when the time limit is up, even though I didn't have an advisor respond to it? I've tried reloading four times and failed all four times 😐

It's ridiculous that the ones you get at the start of the month last for whole month, but ones you get during the last days of the month only last for a couple of days before failing.

I think random problems and opportunities should always last for 30 days.

After reading the name of this post I immediately thought of this

Sorry, couldn't help myself :p

Though I do agree the amount of days it takes to resolve a problem or opportunity is way too long. One of the events is like 90 days! :o
